Months (mo) - Time Conversions

A month is a unit of time. It is a length of time that corresponds to one cycle of the moon's phases. The symbol for month is mo.

Based on the Julian calendar, a year is divided into 12 parts called months. Each month has a unique name which, in order, are: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. January is the first month of the year and December is the last.

Each month has either 28, 29, 30 or 31 days. February has 28 days except during Leap Years when it has 29 days. Months that have 30 days are: April, June, September and November. Months that have 31 days are: January, March, May, July, August, October and December.
